Welcome to an adventure that goes beyond the beaten path! Our accredited mountain training course is not just about conquering peaks; it's about developing your skills, forming connections, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Our course kicks off with a planning session, offering you a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for the mountains. It's not just a course; it's a community coming together. Over the three days we will learn: planning, walking skills, about clothing and equipment, weather, navigation in the hills , environmental knowledge and hazards and emergency procedures in the hills. Over three days, we'll delve into the heart of the mountains, honing skills that go beyond the marked paths. It's a hands-on experience where you'll learn and practice the art of venturing off the beaten track onto rough, challenging terrains. The second day is about gearing up for the thrilling journey ahead. We will spend some time packing our bags and organising essentials. It's not just about the gear; it's about embracing the spirit of adventure and preparing for our wild camping adventure. We will spend our second night out under the stars and return by mid afternoon on the third day. This course isn't just about acquiring skills; it's about the joy of learning. Expect laughter, camaraderie, and an atmosphere that feels more like an exciting mountain getaway with friends than a traditional training course. Fitness level: The days out on the mountain will be approximately 5 to 6 hours and require a good level of fitness (although they'll be plenty of stops and a steady pace). You will be required to carry all your camping kit for 2 days including food and some water. Where will we meet?
