We'll meet at 9am, and our first order of business is to get to know each other and ensure everyone is well-equipped. If you need any gear, we've got you covered! 🎒 Day One - Mastering the Basics: Day one is all about building a solid foundation in winter skills. We'll dive into the essentials, ensuring you're confident in the snowy wilderness. Here's a sneak peek of what's in store: Avalanche Awareness: Learn to recognize potential avalanche risks and how to stay safe. Winter Navigation: Master the art of navigating through winter landscapes with ease. Movement on Snow: Discover the secrets to efficient and safe snow travel. Using Crampons and a Walking Axe: Get hands-on experience using these crucial winter tools. By the end of day one, you'll have a toolbox of essential skills, making you winter-ready and feeling more confident in the snow. 🌄 Day Two - Putting It into Action: On day two, we take those skills to the next level by putting them into action. We'll embark on a winter journey (taking into account the weather and snow) where you'll have the opportunity to implement everything you've learned. You'll navigate, move safely on snow, and conquer new terrain, all while feeling the confidence of a true winter explorer.
