Join us for an inclusive and empowering winter walking adventure designed for women and LGBTQIA+ individuals. No prior winter experience is needed, though moderate fitness and summer hiking experience is beneficial. These weekends focus on journeying in the mountains while teaching you essential winter skills like using crampons and ice axes. What to Expect: Explore beautiful snowy landscapes in the Lake District, Cairngorms or Glencoe Experience the thrill of summiting winter peaks (weather permitting). Learn essential winter skills in a supportive, non-competitive environment and journey in the mountains Who Can Join? This course is open to women and LGBTQIA+ individuals, regardless of experience. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone can build confidence and connect with others in a supportive group setting. Locations: Lake District (Helvellyn, Glenridding): Ideal for beginners, the Lake District provides a beautiful and accessible setting for learning winter skills. Cairngorms, Scotland: For a more remote, rugged experience, the Cairngorms offer a challenging winter landscape for those seeking adventure.
